0:39 listen oh did I get your email in i did get your email i am launching my program 0:43 as we speak I am busy writing I should have it up soon 0:47 I think it’s pretty exciting I think what I the feedback that I got in for 0:51 all of you joining me here is it is a real shortage of supported programs is a 0:55 real list of diets that you can go on 0:57 you get my notifications to get notifications for periscope or for 1:01 facebook mentions on Tina thank you for inviting other people i know there are 1:06 people who are amazing on periscope about swiping and my friends Alex and 1:12 Kim Garst are brilliant at this platform 1:15 I just can’t stand that it goes away 1:18 I can’t do that I can’t see it so I do these great pontifications I let you 1:23 guys in some really good information and 24 hours later it’s gone 1:27 hey Daphne how are you so I spent a lot of time over on facebook and I don’t 1:32 know if Facebook let you guys know that I’m doing this I’m trying to find the 1:36 solution looking into webinars 1:39 you can save it on catch me know somebody said that about catch me 1:43 because i have to look that up 1:45 mmm but I’ve been doing a lot of research as I think some of you saw 1:50 recently i did a whole thing on butter periscope gives you mentions basically 1:54 tell you what I’m on facebook 1:55 ha ha that’s very funny 1:57 um i have found out a lot about nutrition only follow you on facebook 2:02 and follow me on facebook 2:04 I don’t charge where it’s all free on facebook if you do come to my facebook 2:12 fan page 2:13 it is simply facebook.com slash forbes riley fan page on the same time you can 2:18 come on there’s about 2:20 almost 800,000 people on facebook with me and we are very strong community 2:27 I love facebook because i like the pictures i don’t really get twitter if 2:31 you get twitter do you want to just sit me down and explained it to me 2:34 hello Candice so I think that’s the best use of my time 2:40 anyway the point is I’ve been doing some serious research on nutrition and the 2:44 value of what we put in our bodies and how it affects our brain because i think 2:48 is I’m getting a little older I’m going through all kind of crazy things 2:51 emotional craziness now i need to Twitter help – I don’t think twitter’s 2:55 the way to be a Facebook to me the way you can post the way it saves the way 3:00 you can private contact each other i think it is absolutely although i do 3:03 like the heart that you guys are doing some get me wrong i think that’s kind of 3:06 cool 3:10 I think that once you uncover the truth about what we eat and what you put in 3:15 your mouth and how it functions and how it affects your brain 3:19 I don’t know how you got to restaurant I don’t know how we can eat just love your 3:22 name for it so ranch thank you 3:25 well it’s rich in ideas forbes riley and if you ever come to one of my speeches 3:29 it’s very personal how forms came to be away from my grandmother 3:35 so I’m enjoying the conversation you know who does this really well my friend 3:40 shaleen does this well some people are really out there on a very steady basis 3:44 I don’t I don’t want to have all that time but i love the idea that we can be 3:47 very intimate here feel free to ask a question 3:50 I’m kind of curious since i started my e program go take a look at my eat journal 3:56 com 3:56 so it’s a little website from my new book and it wasn’t really an amazing 4:00 she really is also it’s okay i was watching girlfriend Rachel today and she 4:03 was doing a periscope choose apologize that you never make up on that some 4:06 metallics Khan would never do we never apologized that he was in his makeup on 4:10 we as women we are so screwed because if we don’t have it all die just doesn’t 4:13 look as good does it 4:15 I appreciate you guys all joining me just having an ongoing conversation 4:19 about what we eat why we eat and how we eat and what we’re supposed to do about 4:22 this because I went into the health food store yesterday and the cereal that I 4:29 wanted was eight dollars because it’s so organic and so wrong so natural and I 4:35 don’t know if we talk about healthy food how most people can afford to eat 4:38 healthy 4:39 on the other side of the coin how can you afford not to 4:42 we are putting so much yes it’s my eternal . com you guys are really good 4:47 i’m going to speak to hang out in paris couple more my age it’ll calm is a 4:50 simple little weak site but it talks about my eternal and I get people all 4:56 the time of the health and fitness expert 4:58 we just seem sad just go for it I don’t have to figure it out i don’t know what 5:02 to do 5:03 and you know the answer is not quite that simple 5:07 the answer is not a diet the answer is not a five-day quick program that you 5:12 can go on the answer is a lifestyle 5:14 the answers are changes that you can do so i didn’t mention and I’m gonna do it 5:17 every friday about five things that you can do every week to change forms five 5:21 on writing one of them and I don’t think you guys saw this is hella my juice 5:25 apple juice florida is to clean out your closet 5:29 that’s why you need to come back here well you know i didn’t know i was so 5:31 welcome actually I’m liking this 5:33 so real quick as I’m driving to a quick little errand running the five things 5:38 that you need to do what did you need to clean out your closet and I need to 5:42 clean out your refrigerator need to get on this concept that old is bad moldy is 5:48 bad 5:49 God how to explain this look at what you eat 5:53 look at this the ketchup that you eat is it full of sugar look at the mayonnaise 5:56 that you eat 5:57 what is natural that you’re putting in your body and then go to your pantry and 6:01 you really have to take stock 6:03 there’s such a difference it can go to a health person and then health doesn’t 6:07 mean fanatical how it just means really good choices it’s the kind of sooner 6:11 that you meet and by the way we’re on a mission to fight big business 6:15 I don’t love big business ideas I don’t want to get them yelling at me or 6:18 shutting me down but they just started something very scary i just watch where 6:23 you’re at a party and really like to Gina thank you very much i did i did 6:26 last night 6:27 they just did something really crazy high fructose corn syrup is the death of 6:32 us all 6:32 it is in almost everything they sneak it in and do terrible things and I just 6:36 found out that they now can label it like 6:40 it doesn’t have to have even one percent i just read the article and got sent 6:45 some research on this that they are calling it something else 6:49 so that we as consumers don’t know because we let the word out as a group 6:53 of health-minded conscious people and high fructose corn syrup was danger 6:57 death poison they started labeling and other things and now they’re telling us 7:01 there’s a whole thing they can put into fructose to also make that completely 7:04 unnatural 7:05 so they’re working very hard to keep our food salted and sweet and addictive and 7:11 all those things that you don’t realize that they’re doing 7:14 why do I care because I’ve got two kids because I’m a person of the world 7:16 because when I look at you I want you to smile back with all your teeth 7:19 unlike the guy just sat next to at starbucks terrible skin and only through 7:23 teeth in his entire head 7:24 now i’m sure that’s due to a lot of factors but maybe something he’s eating 7:27 or drinking or ingesting the amount of sugar or things that nobody told him why 7:31 is it people lie to us 7:33 they lie because they want to make money you know 7:36 can you make money and tell the truth can’t make money and be natural can make 7:40 money and live a conscious life 7:44 his life is way too short and I don’t want you to suffer the way I was gonna 7:50 just give you the 7:51 I think so what is the subject of your discussion the discussion is one that 7:55 I’m coming back to periscope I was just checking in my conversations always come 8:01 around food and I was just giving you the five things that I talked to my 8:03 facebook fans about because I’ve gotten a flood the flood of people wanting 8:07 information when i asked them to do was because i don’t have a huge system is to 8:13 simply send me private message me your email if you want to be put on this list 8:18 the list 8:19 I literally in the one mentions conversation I did I think I got three 8:23 four hundred names 8:24 so if you would like to be part of this discussion and i’ll include free recipes 8:30 and the system and I can teach you the whole system where to buy my groceries 8:34 ok so is a couple of things that you buy your groceries that was one of the 8:38 things on the fridays five 8:39 you need to shop with your local supermarket that’s hard to do during the 8:43 wintertime 8:44 but during the summertime almost everywhere especially in this country I 8:46 don’t know in Russia have a local grown farmers market you need to support them 8:50 you need to find your local organic farmer and oh that’s interesting in 8:56 saline help me I know shaleen actually I probably should help she’s just genius 8:59 you know I should reach out to her thank you for that 9:03 so if they’re an organic farmer they are fighting very hard to keep their organic 9:08 status 9:08 it’s a little more expensive for them to keep the licenses and you need to 9:14 support them find someone that is committed to the ground they’re growing 9:20 food in and support them we have a local co-op here that i support and I think 9:25 it’s really important 9:26 teach the kids to get out there get their hands dirty see where food comes 9:28 from who doesn’t come from the grocery store it comes from the ground it comes 9:31 from animals 9:32 it comes from nature am i single oh that’s such a loaded question no I’m not 9:36 single thank you for asking though 9:38 and by the way i’m way too much trouble you don’t want to get involved with 9:42 someone like me trust me 9:44 the other thing you buy is you go to look for health food stores there are a 9:48 lot there are a lot of stores now that are committed to supporting health 9:56 conscious eating the thing that I find out – is that they’re very expensive and 10:05 that’s heartbreaking to me 10:07 I mean they might food but when I went in there what about whole foods and 10:10 fresh market Oh even let me tell you something 10:13 great stores but whole foods is also called whole paycheck 10:16 they’re expensive so what you need to do is really need to budget 10:20 what you are going to move into eating because you can spend a lot of money and 10:24 that is the other thing that I’m very conscious and I have a lot of clients 10:27 who can’t afford all the best but you need to be smart 10:31 you need to know get eggs that are from farm fresh animals that are organic 10:37 that is one of the big things that you can do the other thing you need to do is 10:40 find meat that is grass-fed and like I said support your farmers do a co-op if 10:45 you have to do not let money being excuse that is the big thing but whole 10:49 foods as a company is very committed to supporting you know entrepreneurs on all 10:55 levels if you’ve got a new invention or healthy concept and you go to whole 10:57 foods you can get your products in their stores I liked their process of buying I 11:03 am base between Los Angeles and st. Pete most of my time now i live in st. Pete 11:08 Florida for a couple of reasons one 11:10 I work on HSN here and I love being around the water and while there’s water 11:18 in California you can’t get into it here we boat we fish we hang out on these 11:24 beautiful beaches in LA it’s all so crowded 11:27 i miss my la trust me i love it my daughter has convinced me to go back out 11:31 there for the summer to pursue a little acting again see if we do that HSN is 11:37 amazing if you good HSN i have my own brand i sell my spin gym which I firmly 11:41 believe everyone should have a spin gym greatest fitness product on the planet 11:45 very inexpensive so I asked what the five things I did I mention where at 11:49 least i can get through them without getting sidetracked when you’re cleaning 11:53 out your pantry 11:54 – you’re buying food at grocery store at local farmers markets or whole foods 11:59 stores and really reading your ingredients get serious about the things 12:02 that you put into your body make a commitment that you are that important 12:06 you don’t put water in your gas tank while you’re putting crap in your body 12:08 and if you put crap in your body 12:10 it’s overweight it’s sluggish it doesn’t do it needs to do number three 12:13 broccoli that sounds crazy broccoli is so full of nutrition 12:17 most people steam it or fry it or do silly things with it 12:20 I’m not seem it i mean boiling I want you to just one day a week while we’re 12:25 on this program together we’re going to do this for six weeks is simply my 12:29 broccoli and I want you to learn how to steam it now the other crazy thing that 12:34 we’re talking about the fourth thing was the value of butter fresh butter farm 12:39 fresh grass fed cows producing butter and this is weird because all of a 12:45 sudden we’re saying no longer is a low-fat world in fact that it’s a 12:49 high-fat world 12:50 yes you do need to use the everybody needs from best mince steamer 12:53 but get this avocado coconut olives butter 13:01 you know so many years we were not allowed to you know eat butter yes 13:07 kerrygold butter is grass-fed and that is the gold standard you know I’m 13:10 thinking you should buy stock and carry gold right now because that company is 13:13 exploding 13:14 ever since bulletproof coffee came out start talking about butter 13:18 now we’re soft don’t get mad at me but it’s not butter on your bread 13:21 you don’t want to be eating processed anything if you can help it but you now 13:26 can put butter on your potato and you could put butter on your broccoli and 13:30 yes I used for my bulletproof coffee 13:32 you know it’s I don’t drink coffee anymore i drink a little bit of it but 13:37 the roasting process of coffee is very harsh on your stomach 13:41 but apparently adding butter to your coffee or your morning tea seems to have 13:45 a very positive effect on your brain on your energy and like this 13:49 so what am i five things one last time we’re on the same page can only tell you 13:53 something we’re on the same page 13:54 I am committed to talk about this cuz that’s not what other people talk about 13:58 on a regular basis i don’t know what your conversation was this sunday 14:00 in fact I have a goofy idea I don’t know if you’re religious or not 14:06 my snows haste thank you guys so much 14:09 we ask your crazy crazy question I need you to chime in since we’re having a 14:12 two-way conversation 14:13 if i did a thing called Church of the fit on sunday i’m going to start 14:18 preaching now I’m not preaching Scripture 14:20 I’m not no I’m not preaching Jesus I’m not preaching anything religious you can 14:24 go to your wherever you already go and you can believe in whatever you believe 14:28 it 14:28 I have my own beliefs and I love God and I love Jesus and I’ll of Buddha and I 14:33 love all of this that’s not what I want to talk about 14:35 I want church of the fit to be this rockin concept where we can talk about 14:41 health and fitness and exercise and I can get up there and not be polite about 14:46 this 14:46 you know the kind of churches that I like are the ones that are outrageous 14:49 that are filled with music and clapping and song and rejoicing in life that God 14:54 within us the God above us is a good idea i got a one thumb zup give me a 14:58 thumbs up or give me a yes if you think this is a good idea because on sunday 15:02 i’m going to be doing church of it I wanted to do it forever 15:05 Church of the fit is a good idea not Gina thank you 15:09 because i had a couple of my rather religious friends go oh you can’t do 15:11 that like know so you can I envision online and in person 15:17 this forum where we are rocking it out we are celebrating it is hallelujah kind 15:21 of 15:22 oh my god i love life if you love life you love it 15:28 you gonna come to church of the fit I wish there was another way to say 15:32 instead of church because church sounds 15:35 scripture is and that is the point you can go to your church in the morning and 15:39 then coming she goes to the judges know when you go to the church of the 15:42 Annabelle it’s very money 15:44 I think church means a gathering of people now maybe for religious purposes 15:48 Oh even I love that church of the fact i think that’s hysterical my still on you 15:53 guys 15:53 let me know that I’m still have a phone call I don’t know what happens with 15:56 phone calls it just interrupt your periscope yes idea so that’d be funny 16:01 I wanted to do this forever I would you tune in which in and I i think this is a 16:08 good idea 16:09 so it maybe i’ll do it on periscope that will pick a time I’m going to let you 16:13 know through facebook because that again is the easiest way to write things down 16:17 I want to even I want to thank you for your support Gina thank you for your 16:20 support 16:21 we’re here your call freezes us I think that this is an amazing form to be live 16:29 you know it’s funny i’m actually wanna hear something crazy going fast 16:32 thanks for driving past the church churches to me 16:36 need to be where people rejoice in life and sing and dance and just remember 16:43 what it’s like to be human and most churches my church’s or temples never 16:48 talked about food and health 16:51 we talked about things that were important but every day you get up and 16:56 you have to eat every day you get up and you have to look at your body in the 17:00 mirror you take a shower you see yourself 17:03 and I so often wonder if what we’re doing 17:08 I think I pastor I have to go all right you know what I’m gonna go for now 17:13 I love this time thank you guys very much for sharing with me i will talk to 17:17 you soon from all my heart to yours
