How it works

Gyrotronic resistance training

The secret is the vibrating, slightly irregular load created by the rotation of SpinGym’s central weighted disc. That is what creates resistance, and it is why all of your upper body and core muscles are engaged at once. With up to 20 pounds of resistance on each pull, you double your heart rate in under a minute.

It tones arms, shoulders, back and abs deeper than bands or dumbbells, and the DVD routines are designed to sculpt, not bulk. Forbes conditioned her quads and hamstrings with it after ACL replacement surgery.

  1. Pull.

Hold the handles, pull apart, and let the disc spin up.

  2. Hold the rhythm.

Keep the disc spinning. The irregular load does the work.

  3. Five minutes, three times a day.

The SpinGym Promise: commit to that and you will quickly feel and see changes.

The story

“No one wanted it.”

When Forbes launched SpinGym on Discovery’s PitchMen she was told it would never work and she was wasting her time. She marketed it out of the back of her car. It went on to sell 600,000 units in three years, 61,000 of them in a single 24-hour live home-shopping show, and has now passed a million.

“I own the company 100 percent, and it’s all my heart and soul in the creation and execution of this dream. I’ve created a product that gets people in wheelchairs easy cardio, helps women who hate their arms, and gives hope to people who can’t get to the gym.”
